Sean was spectacular. He curated a 4+ hour food tour. We ate soooo much food. But more importantly, we saw Spain. We ate and drank at 100+-year-old family businesses that seemed not to have aged. We laughed and talked like old friends. Sean is a prince of a human being and our trip would have been a waste without his help. 100/100

What You’ll See & Do
Starting at the Puerta del Sol, we’ll walk through the Madrid de Los Austrias, Plaza Mayor, San Ginés, Plaza de la Villa, Opera, Royal Palace, and La Latina. Sharing tapas over an ice-cold beer or a glass of wine is probably the most entertaining way to experience our local culture. We have designed this Madrid city tour so you get an introduction to the country’s gastronomic diversity. Enjoy a glass of Ribera or Rioja, get to know what makes Iberian ham so special (and delicious!), learn about Madrid’s incredible fish culture, and more!
Because (and this is part of the adventure) we’ll be crossing the city in four directions, walking is not essential as we will be taking public transport most of the time to make the intervals short. This will make the experience more intimate, allowing you to experience street life and get an accurate idea of what the city is made of.

This was a wonderful tour to introduce us to the incredible food options of Madrid. We really appreciated going into the residential neighborhoods and discovering the culinary treasures located off the tourist path. Sean also gave us many ideas for dining in Madrid for the rest of our time there. Sean is a wonderful guide, personable and knowledgeable.
